Cycling the Archipelago Trail
You’re welcome to arrive sweaty, wet, and hungry! We offer basic maintenance supplies, and if you have a bigger issue, the nearest bike repair shop is just one kilometer away. You can also wash your bike and clean and dry your wet clothes here if needed. Check out local cycling routes and tips for bike travel on the Finnish Cycling Tourism Center’s website.
Our restaurant, Tammiston Kuulas, helps restore your energy during opening hours, and we also offer shared kitchen facilities for preparing your own meals.
The Archipelago Trail is easy to start or finish with us. Book a night in one of Tammisto’s cozy accommodations, enjoy an atmospheric dinner at Restaurant Tammiston Kuulas, and fuel up for your journey with the Orchard Keeper’s breakfast—featuring local ingredients, healthy options, and a touch of soul food to set you on your way through the Turku Archipelago.
We collaborate with the Turku-based bike rental company Carfield. You can book and pay for your bikes online, and they will be available for you directly in Tammisto’s yard, where you can also return them. If you encounter any issues during your trip, Carfield will assist you and handle the situation if needed. You can leave your car in our parking area free of charge for the duration of your trip.
