In Tammisto’s beautiful hall, Afternoon Tea by Katri Tätilä is served – a concept that has gained a loyal following in just a few years. Guests come here to relax over coffee and traditional pastries, immerse themselves in old-world manor romance, and experience a piece of authentic Naantali history.

All pastries are handmade in Tammisto’s own kitchen – the very same place where Tätilä herself once sat, chatting with the lady of the house.

Katri Tätilä was also an artist at Kupittaa Ceramics Factory, where she contributed to Finnish ceramic artistry. Her creative spirit and craftsmanship are reflected in the timeless atmosphere of Afternoon Tea at Tammisto.

Here, you can sip coffee in the very place where she once found inspiration, enjoying handmade pastries and the charm of manor life—just as she might have.

Katri Tätilä (1905–1980)

Katri Tätilä "Kilpajuoksu"

Katri Tätilä was a Finnish painter and graphic artist, recognized as one of the most influential female artists in Finland after World War II. She lived and worked in Tammiston during the 1940s, where she had her studio.

Today, her works can be found in the collections of the Wäinö Aaltonen Museum. At Tammisto, a painting by Tätilä depicting Antti Nieminen (1941–2006), a member of the Tammisto family, hangs in the reception room.

Visitors can also browse her original sketchbooks, which we have preserved from her estate, offering a glimpse into the artistic mind of this remarkable painter.
