We are a terrace restaurant in Naantali, where our kitchen is guided by the seasons, local ingredients, and the charcoal grill. The menu lives with availability and time of year, yet every dish carries the same essence: the atmosphere of the archipelago, carefully crafted preparation, and the clean, honest flavours that define Kuulas.

Our location is well suited for visitors to Moominworld, those spending time in Naantali’s town centre, and travellers exploring the Archipelago Trail. We also welcome you indoors—our beautiful, air-conditioned dining room serves the same menu, whatever the weather.

FISH FOUR WAYS, ANGELICA SPREAD AND ARCHIPELAGO BREAD

This dish brings together the most beloved fish preparations from our kitchen over the years. It features pickled pike, whitefish prepared in a Spanish style, ember-roasted salmon, and cold-smoked Baltic herring served as a mousse. This cold selection is accompanied by house-baked malt crispbread, Rosala archipelago bread, and angelica spread.

Perfect to share as a starter for two or enjoyed as a main course for one with a side.

Also known as the butcher’s cut, hanger steak is prized for its tenderness and rich flavour—so much so that it was traditionally kept for the butcher’s own table. Served on a skewer with soft balsamic-glazed red onions and finished with a soulful apple butter sauce that brings depth and roundness to the dish. The beef is sourced from Finnish producers.

Organic potatoes from Hämölä Farm in Rymättylä (from Midsummer onwards), first roasted in the oven and then finished with a quick fry before serving.
